The ECO TERRA project is the largest Passive House project in the United States. The project consists of 348 eco-luxury apartment units with a superlative clubhouse. Each unit will be appointed with premium amenities such as nine foot-ceilings, eco-friendly wood flooring, Energy Star stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, continuous flow of fresh air, and much more.
The location is near rail transportation to the city of Chicago and is centrally located to neighborhood parks, forest preserves as well as upscale shopping and dinning venues. The project achieves Net Zero by a solar system along with battery system. All energy produced via a 240 kWh solar system that is supplemented by a remote 2 MW solar field, and a 300 kWh battery system. ECO TERRA is built to NGBS Gold/Silver standards, Passive House Certification, and Hawthorne World’s Gold Sustainability Rating.
