In the Medical district of Roanoke, the twin towers called Curie Towers, is rising. This complex will boast of 300 units, with adequate parking spaces, all geared toward inner city living. The units will be decked with hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances (range, refrigerator, dishwasher, in-unit washer/dryer), low flow toilets, and faucets, LED lighting, balconies, and more. The average ceiling height will be 13 feet, giving the residents a luxurious feel. The common area amenities include business center, fitness center, concierge, car rental services, package receiving services, 24-hour doormen, swimming pool, keyless entry, and much more. Daylighting will be an added amenity on the top floor.
Difficult as it may be to achieve Net Zero in a city high rise, due to our skillful use of solar, and geothermal, the complex will be at least Net Zero ready, if not Net Zero.
